Crystal Missile Development Update


Hello hello!

Just to keep those of you following this project in the loop, here's the gameplan towards what will hopefully become a new demo release for this project! I've switched over to Sprytile for the 3D tile assets, implemented Rewired to handle inputs, and have added a swath of new technical and gameplay features. Here's what I'm aiming for in a demo release:

  • Up to Eight Players (Done!)
  • 'Greases': powers you can apply to your roller pre-game
  • Deathmatch maps! Knock your opponents off-course!
  • Hunt the Adventurers: a challenge race of the maps for players who want to test their abilities in navigating the maps
  • About 3 different themed worlds for Races
  • Profile System to track your stats and aesthetic preferences (Partially Implemented)
  • Improvements in UI

This will be a sort of 'early access' build with an entry cost for players who want to try things out in advance of a final build, which ideally will double the content promised here.
